The below photos (March 2010) show new construction work to rebuild (in concrete) the collapsed metal wall of the eastern edge of the SWC site. They show clearly that:
a) the excavations only went so deep (and that there are more graves underneath);
b) that the old stones and internal walls (and possibly tombs) of the excavated cemetery are still visible,
c) that bulldozers and heavy equipment roam the area freely without any regard to its archeological value;
d) in fact no Museum construction (foundations etc) work has begun except to clear much of the site.
